We all face unique challenges but that doesn’t mean we can’t be badasses too. We all have our moments of self-doubt and insecurity when we don’t feel like we’re living up to our full potential. But as women, we have already achieved so much in life and we have the power to take on anything we set our minds to. It’s time to embrace our inner badass and live life to the fullest.

Maybe you are feeling stuck in your life and wondering how you can take control and become a badass? Look no further, I’ll be sharing with you ways you can start owning your life and becoming the confident, powerful woman you were meant to be.


So let’s dive in and start taking action towards your badassery!


Believe in Yourself:

The first step to becoming a badass is to truly believe in yourself. Trust your instincts, have confidence in your abilities and know that you can handle any situation that comes your way. When you have faith in your own strength and resilience, it radiates out to the people around you.


Take Risks:

Being a badass means taking risks and putting yourself out there. Break out of your comfort zone and try something new. Take on that big project at work, start your own business, or learn a new skill. Don’t be afraid to fail – it’s often the failures that lead to the biggest successes.


Set Boundaries:

Part of being a badass is knowing your worth and setting boundaries. Don’t be afraid to say no to things that don’t align with your values or don’t serve your best interests. Surround yourself with people who respect your boundaries and lift you up.


Speak Your Truth:

A true badass isn’t afraid to speak their mind and stand up for what they believe in. Don’t be afraid to voice your opinions or challenge the status quo. Speak up for yourself and others and be a catalyst for change.

If you have something to say, speak up and don’t hold back. Of course, do so with respect and kindness, but don’t let anyone silence you or make you feel small. Your voice matters, so use it.


Embrace Your Imperfections:

We all have flaws and imperfections but a badass owns them and uses them to their advantage. Embrace your quirks and celebrate your unique qualities. Use your imperfections as strengths and let them shine through.  Become Flawsome.


Keep Learning:

A badass knows that learning and growth are never-ending processes. Stay curious and open-minded and seek out new opportunities for growth and development. Read books, take classes, attend conferences – whatever it takes to keep your brain engaged and your skills sharp. Keep pushing yourself to try new things and expand your mind. When you keep learning and growing, you’ll become the best version of yourself and a true badass.


Surround Yourself with Badasses:

Birds of a feather flock together, so surround yourself with other badass women who inspire and support you. Collaborate on projects, attend networking events and cultivate a community of like-minded women who challenge and lift you up.  The people you surround yourself with can have a big impact on your life. Seek out people who share your values and goals and who support and encourage you. A badass doesn’t let toxic people bring them down or hold them back.


Get Comfortable with Discomfort:

Growth and badassery often require discomfort. Instead of shying away from challenging situations, lean into them and see them as opportunities to learn and grow. Use fear and discomfort as a way to stretch yourself beyond your limits and achieve greatness.


Embrace your uniqueness:

One of the most badass things you can do is to fully embrace and love yourself for who you are. Let go of societal expectations and definitions of beauty, success and happiness. Instead, focus on yourself and what makes you unique. Celebrate your quirks, your passions, and your talents. When you own your unique traits, you exude confidence and become unstoppable.


Take action even when it’s scary:

Fear can be paralysing but if you want to be a badass, you need to learn how to push through your fears. Take small steps towards your goals every day, even if it’s scary. The more you face your fears, the more they lose their power over you. Don’t let fear hold you back from living your best life.


Don’t settle:

Whether it’s in your career, relationships, or life in general, a badass knows when to walk away from something that no longer serves them. Don’t settle for mediocrity or something that makes you unhappy. You deserve greatness, so go out and get it.


Own your mistakes:

We all make mistakes but it’s how we handle them that matters. A badass isn’t afraid to admit when they’re wrong and take responsibility for their actions. Learn from your mistakes and use them as opportunities to grow and become better.


Take Care of Yourself:

Self-care is crucial for badassery. Prioritise your physical and mental health by taking time for yourself every day. Exercise, meditate, journal, or indulge in a hobby you love. When you take care of yourself, you show up as your best self in all areas of your life.  Part of being a badass is taking care of yourself, physically, emotionally and mentally. Making time to exercise, eat healthy, get enough sleep and do things that bring you joy are crucial. When you prioritise your self-care, you’ll have the energy and confidence to take on anything.


Face challenges head-on:

Life is full of challenges but a badass doesn’t shy away from them. Instead, they face them head-on with confidence, resilience, and determination. When faced with a challenge, take a deep breath, assess the situation and come up with a plan of action.


Learn to say no.

A badass isn’t afraid to set boundaries and say no when they need to. Don’t take on more than you can handle and don’t let others take advantage of you. Learning to say no is a powerful tool that will help you take control of your life.


Celebrate Your Wins:

Finally, being a badass means celebrating your wins, no matter how big or small. Take time to acknowledge and appreciate your achievements and use them as motivation to keep pushing forward. Whether it’s a promotion at work, a personal milestone, or just getting through a tough day, give yourself the props you deserve.


Becoming a badass is a process and it’s different for everyone. But by embracing your inner strength and confidence, taking risks, setting boundaries and surrounding yourself with other badass women, you can become the best version of yourself and live a life of purpose and fulfilment. Becoming a badass isn’t something that happens overnight but with time, effort, you can start to take charge of your life and become the confident, powerful woman you were meant to be.


You have everything you need inside of you to be a badass – you just need to tap into it. So go out there, embrace your bad-assery, and take on the world!


Remember, you are unique, capable and deserving of greatness. So go out and own your badassery.
